After a long time preparing for my newborn spiritual baby – I mean, my first book ‘Mua xuan o xu so nhiet doi’ (The spring in a tropical land), I have come back with you – my dear readers of sweetfiction.net. Can you recognize that I am using English instead of my Vietnamese?
It happened after I came back from New Zealand. I know I love New Zealand – a beautiful peaceful separated island in the Centre of Pacific Ocean – but I also know that I finally need to come back to my home country – Vietnam.
I was in Hanoi from 20th of December 2023. It has been more than one month for myself to settle down, got back to my work and began my life again as if I haven’t been to New Zealand before. Sometimes I think it will be better if I use English, so I decided to some extent, I am going to write in English as an, uhm, a kind of international blogger. Is it thrilling?
These days, Hanoi is preparing for Tet holiday which is the most important festival of the year. This is the occasion that every member of each family is going back and gathering to review one year passed and hope best wishes to new year coming. Is it stimulating to you?
In my free time, during this cold weather, one of my pleasures is knitting. Yeap, knitting. Kind of boring jobs for the old. But I like it much. I am knitting a scarf for my nephew. I hope I can finish it before Tet so my nephew can wear it during Ter holiday.
This is my ongoing project. I chose this colour and this pattern. And it has taken me hours like forever to finish this small scarf. Do you think it is worth knitting like this?
